Email Marketing

Email Marketing is where you create and follow email campaigns - newsletters, promotions, announcements - sent to your customer audiences. Every campaign you launch lives on this list with its schedule, its execution history, and its current status, so you always know what went out, to whom, and when.

How email campaigns work

A campaign bundles three decisions: the content (the email itself), the audience (typically a segment of customers), and the timing. You can send immediately or set a start at time for a scheduled launch; the executed at column then records when the send actually ran. The status column follows the campaign through its life - from draft, through scheduled, to executed - so a glance at the list tells you which campaigns are still waiting and which have already reached inboxes.

Because each campaign keeps its own log, this page doubles as your sending history. Opening a record shows the full details of that campaign, which is where you verify what a past campaign contained and how its send went.

Note: A scheduled campaign sends to its audience as it exists at execution time. Finalize the segment before start at arrives, not after.

Reading the list

The quick search box matches the campaign name. Six filters narrow the view further: created by, executed at, name, source, start at, and status. The standard tools are all here - manage columns via the icon at the right of the header row, saved filters, focus mode, Export All, and rows-per-page with a page jumper. Custom fields you define under Settings > Custom Fields appear automatically as extra filters.

Tip: Filter executed at to last month and save the filter as "Last month's sends" - a one-click monthly review of your email activity.

Create a campaign

  1. Go to Marketing > Email > Email Marketing and press Create.
  2. Fill the campaign form - name it clearly, compose the content, choose the audience, and set the send time. Fields marked with * are required.
  3. Save. The campaign appears in the list immediately with its status, and executes at the scheduled time (or right away for an immediate send).

Review a past campaign

  1. Find the campaign - search by name, or filter by created by to see a teammate's campaigns.
  2. Open the record to see its full details and execution log.
  3. Compare campaigns that targeted the same segment to judge which subject lines and timing perform best.

Export the current view

  1. Apply your filters and select the columns you want (manage columns).
  2. Press Export All - the export respects the current filters and column selection.

What you can do on this page

Every action on this page, step by step. What you see depends on your role, so a control your account is not set up for simply does not appear.

Add a record

  1. Click Add above the table - some pages label it New or show a + icon.
  2. Complete the form. Required fields carry a red asterisk and the form will not submit until they are filled.
  3. Click Save. Validation runs on submit; any field that fails shows its message directly beneath itself, and the form scrolls to the first problem.
  4. You land back on the list with the new record in place.
Searchable dropdowns (customer, product, account, branch...) read live data - start typing to filter rather than scrolling. Most also let you create the missing record inline so you don't lose the form you are in.

Edit a record

  1. Open the row's actions menu at the end of the row and choose Edit, or open the record and use Edit there.
  2. The form loads with current values. Change only what you need.
  3. Click Save.
Documents that are already posted to accounting, paid, or fulfilled lock the fields that would change history. That is deliberate - issue a refund, a credit note, or an adjustment instead of rewriting the original.

Open and read a record

  1. Click the row, or choose View in the row's actions menu.
  2. The detail page shows the record's own fields, its related documents, and the actions that apply to it in its current state.
  3. Use the breadcrumb or your browser's back button to return - your filters, sort, and page position are preserved.

Export the list

  1. Filter and choose your columns first - the export mirrors exactly what is on screen, not the whole table.
  2. Click Export All.
  3. The file downloads as a spreadsheet: one row per record, your visible columns in your order.
