Company Profile

Company Profile is your account's identity record. The name, logo, address, contact numbers and social links you enter here are the ones printed on invoices and POS receipts, shown on your online store and mobile app, and used in emails - and the time zone you set here decides how every date and time in the whole dashboard is displayed. It is a single form, saved once, with consequences everywhere.

How the company profile works in OSOSS

The page is one long form in two blocks: Basic, which holds identity, address and formatting, and Contacts, which holds your phone numbers and social profiles. There is no draft state - what you save is live immediately on every channel.

Three fields deserve attention before the rest:

FieldWhy it matters
UsernameYour account handle, shown with a .ososs.com suffix. Latin letters, digits, dashes and underscores only, no spaces. It is displayed read-only here because changing it would break existing links.
Business typeChosen from the OSOSS work field list. It shapes defaults and the way some add-ons present themselves.
Time zoneApplied to every date and time OSOSS renders, including POS session opening and closing times and invoice timestamps.

Company name, About, Address and Address 2 are bilingual fields with a language switcher, so English and Arabic customers each see the version written for them. About is a rich text field, which is what your storefront's about page reads.

The address block is not free text. Country, City and Area are cascading selectors that read from Locations: you cannot choose a city until a country is set, or an area until a city is set, and nothing appears in those lists until the country is installed under Locations. There is also a map field for pinning the exact point, which delivery and pickup rules can build on.

Fill in the profile

  1. Confirm the Username, then write the Company name in both languages using the language switcher next to the field.
  2. Choose the Business type, and write About in both languages if you run an online store.
  3. Set Country, then City, then Area, in that order, and drop the pin on the map.
  4. Set the Time zone and Time format to match where you actually operate.
  5. Add the Business email, Address and Address 2, and upload the Logo.
  6. In Contacts, enter the Mobile and Phone with their country codes, then paste the social profile links you want customers to see: Facebook, Instagram, X, Website, Google Plus, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat and YouTube.
  7. Click Save. Username, company name and business type are required; the rest can be filled in later.
Tip: Keep the logo file small. It is fetched on every storefront page load and rendered on every printed receipt, so a large image slows both.
Warning: Change the time zone only when your operation genuinely moves. Every timestamp in the dashboard is rendered through this setting, so switching it makes yesterday's POS sessions and invoices appear at different times than the staff who created them remember.
Note: Empty social fields are simply not shown. There is no need to invent a link for a network you do not use.

What you can do on this page

Every action on this page, step by step. What you see depends on your role, so a control your account is not set up for simply does not appear.

Delete a record

  1. Open the row's actions menu and choose Delete.
  2. Confirm in the dialog. There is no undo from the interface.
  3. If the record is referenced elsewhere - used on a document, tied to a transaction - the delete is refused and the reason shown.
When a record is refused, or when it may come back into use later, deactivate it instead of deleting. It disappears from selection lists while every document that already used it keeps reading correctly.
