Sender ID Management
The sender ID is the name your customers see when your message arrives - the identity on an SMS or WhatsApp message. This screen is where you register those identities, submit the business details that carriers and WhatsApp require to approve them, and choose which identity is active and which is the default for outgoing messages.
Menu path: Marketing > WhatsApp > Senderidmanagement

How sender IDs work
A sender ID is not just a label; it is a registration with a service provider. When you create one, you supply your business identity - name, address, email, mobile number, category, and a description - and the provider reviews it before messages can go out under that name. Each record tracks:
| Field group | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Identity | sender id, name, displayName, language |
| Business details | business address, business email, mobile number, category, description |
| Routing | Service Provider, type, source, use in, for template |
| State | active, is default, status |
The status filter shows where each registration stands with the provider, is active controls whether the identity can currently send, and is default marks the one used when a campaign does not specify otherwise. WhatsApp templates are registered against a sender ID, so an inactive or unapproved identity blocks its templates too.
Register a sender ID
- Go to Marketing > WhatsApp > Senderidmanagement and press Create.
- Enter the sender id and display name your customers should see, and pick the Service Provider and type.
- Fill in the business details - address, email, mobile number, category, and a short description of your use. Fields marked with * are required.
- Set use in to the messaging contexts this identity serves, and add a note for your own records if useful.
- Save. The record appears in the list immediately with its registration status; once approved, mark it active (and default, if it should be the standard identity).
Reading the list
Nine filters keep a growing list manageable: created at, for template, is active, is default, name, status, type, updated at, and user id. The usual tools apply - manage columns from the icon at the right of the header row, saved filters, focus mode, and rows-per-page with a page jumper. Custom fields you define under Settings > Custom Fields appear here automatically as extra filters.
Delete a sender ID
- Select the row(s) or open the row menu.
- Choose Delete and confirm. Deleted records may be recoverable via the deleted filter where available.
Export the current view
- Apply your filters and select the columns you want (manage columns).
- Press Export All - the export respects the current filters and column selection.
What you can do on this page
Every action on this page, step by step. What you see depends on your role, so a control your account is not set up for simply does not appear.
Add a record
- Click Add above the table - some pages label it New or show a + icon.
- Complete the form. Required fields carry a red asterisk and the form will not submit until they are filled.
- Click Save. Validation runs on submit; any field that fails shows its message directly beneath itself, and the form scrolls to the first problem.
- You land back on the list with the new record in place.
Fields on this form: Service Provider, Action type, Active, Business address, Business email, Category, Description, DisplayName, Header - type, ID, Item - name, Language, Mobile number, Name, Note, Sender ID, Source, Type, Use in
Edit a record
- Open the row's actions menu at the end of the row and choose Edit, or open the record and use Edit there.
- The form loads with current values. Change only what you need.
- Click Save.
Delete a record
- Open the row's actions menu and choose Delete.
- Confirm in the dialog. There is no undo from the interface.
- If the record is referenced elsewhere - used on a document, tied to a transaction - the delete is refused and the reason shown.
Export the list
- Filter and choose your columns first - the export mirrors exactly what is on screen, not the whole table.
- Click Export All.
- The file downloads as a spreadsheet: one row per record, your visible columns in your order.
