Shipping Methods
Shipping Methods is where you decide how orders physically reach customers and what each option costs. A method is the delivery service itself - your own drivers, pickup from a branch, a courier company you have subscribed to - and under each method sits a set of prices, one per area, that decide what checkout charges and how long it promises to take.

Methods, prices and zones
The page lists the methods available to your account, each with its logo and name and a gear button. The gear is where the work happens: it opens that method's price list, showing every rate you have defined with its Name, Delivery fees, Delivery time, Delivery fees type and Zone.
The two-level structure matters. The method answers "who delivers"; the price answers "to where, for how much, and how fast". A single method usually needs several prices - city at one rate, outer governorates at another, and a free tier above a minimum order value. At checkout OSOSS matches the customer's address against your zones and offers only the prices that fit, so an address in an area you have not priced simply has no delivery option.
| Delivery fees type | How the charge is calculated |
|---|---|
| Order | One flat fee per order |
| Item | The fee multiplied by the number of items |
| Weight | A table of weight bands, each with its own price |
| Free | No delivery charge |
Location type is the other half: Global applies the price everywhere, Zone restricts it to the zones you select. Zones come from Locations, so define your geography there before you start pricing.
Add a price to a method
- Click the gear on the method, then open the drawer to add a new price.
- Name the price in both languages - the customer reads this name at checkout, so "Kuwait City - same day" beats "Zone 1".
- Choose the branches it serves. On plans without multi-branch pricing this is locked to your first branch, and the field appears greyed out.
- Set Min order and Max order if the price only applies within a range of order values.
- Pick the fees type and enter the fee. For Weight, fill the bands table; ranges cannot overlap or repeat a boundary, and the form refuses to save if they do.
- Choose Global or Zone, and for Zone select the zones.
- Set Delivery time in days, hours and minutes - this is the promise shown to the customer - and Time before order, which is the lead time you need before a slot can be booked.
- Turn on Can set delivery date if the customer should choose a date, then decide whether the date and the time are required. Turn on Can collect payment for cash on delivery, which only appears when the method itself supports collection.
- Save. The price is live on the next order placed from a matching address.
Courier integrations
A courier method installed from the Marketplace (paid add-on) also has an API data drawer for the credentials the carrier gave you, such as an endpoint URL and an API key. Until those are filled the method exists but cannot create shipments, and orders sit waiting in fulfilment.

Standard list tools
Every list page in OSOSS shares these controls:
- Manage columns - the icon at the right edge of the header row: search columns, tick to show or hide, drag to reorder. Your selection persists for your user.
- Quick search - matches the page's primary field.
- Filter chips + More Filters - the chips are your defaults; More Filters exposes the full set below.
- Save Filter / Saved Filters - name a filter combination and recall it in one click; one can be your default view.
- Reset - clears filters back to defaults.
- Export All - downloads the current filtered rows with exactly the columns you have selected.
- Focus - hides the surrounding chrome for a full-width table.
- Row selection - the header checkbox selects the page or all matching rows, enabling bulk actions.
- Rows per page and page jumper - at the foot of the table.
- Custom fields - anything you define under Settings > Custom Fields appears here as both a column and a filter.

What you can do on this page
Every action on this page, step by step. What you see depends on your role, so a control your account is not set up for simply does not appear.
Open and read a record
- Click the row, or choose View in the row's actions menu.
- The detail page shows the record's own fields, its related documents, and the actions that apply to it in its current state.
- Use the breadcrumb or your browser's back button to return - your filters, sort, and page position are preserved.
Export the list
- Filter and choose your columns first - the export mirrors exactly what is on screen, not the whole table.
- Click Export All.
- The file downloads as a spreadsheet: one row per record, your visible columns in your order.
