Contact Us
Contact Us is the inbox for messages sent through your storefront's contact form. Each row is a person who took the trouble to write to you - which makes this the most under-used page in most OSOSS installations.

What a message holds
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Name | Who wrote |
| Email and mobile | How to reply |
| Subject | What they said it was about |
| Message | What they actually wrote |
There is deliberately no status workflow here. The page is a log, so treat it as a queue you work rather than a system that tracks itself: read, reply through email or WhatsApp, and move on.
Working the inbox
- Open it daily. A contact form message is usually a pre-sale question, and a pre-sale question answered within the hour converts far more often than one answered tomorrow.
- Reply in the channel they used, unless they gave a mobile number and asked to be called - then call.
- Note the pattern, not just the message. Three people asking about delivery times means your delivery policy page is unclear or hard to find.
- Fix the cause. Every recurring question is either a missing product detail, an unclear policy, or an absent page - and fixing it once removes the message permanently.
Tip: Read a month of messages in one sitting and count the categories. That list is the most honest product and content roadmap you will get, because it comes from people who wanted to buy and could not work something out.
Note: Messages arrive here only from the storefront's contact form. Questions that come by WhatsApp, phone or social media are not logged, so if this page looks quiet, check whether your customers are simply using a different channel.
Warning: Contact messages contain personal details customers gave you for one purpose. Do not add these addresses to marketing lists - answering a question is not consent to be marketed to, and treating it that way costs the trust the message was built on.

Standard list tools
Every list page in OSOSS shares these controls:
- Manage columns - the icon at the right edge of the header row: search columns, tick to show or hide, drag to reorder. Your selection persists for your user.
- Quick search - matches the page's primary field.
- Filter chips + More Filters - the chips are your defaults; More Filters exposes the full set below.
- Save Filter / Saved Filters - name a filter combination and recall it in one click; one can be your default view.
- Reset - clears filters back to defaults.
- Export All - downloads the current filtered rows with exactly the columns you have selected.
- Focus - hides the surrounding chrome for a full-width table.
- Row selection - the header checkbox selects the page or all matching rows, enabling bulk actions.
- Rows per page and page jumper - at the foot of the table.
- Custom fields - anything you define under Settings > Custom Fields appears here as both a column and a filter.

What you can do on this page
Every action on this page, step by step. What you see depends on your role, so a control your account is not set up for simply does not appear.
Export the list
- Filter and choose your columns first - the export mirrors exactly what is on screen, not the whole table.
- Click Export All.
- The file downloads as a spreadsheet: one row per record, your visible columns in your order.
